News: 09/ 06/08 POF to play Summer Sundae Fringe Festival Leicester Details over at www.summersundaefringe.com News: 29/05/08 POF support Cave singers ! First UK show this year will be at the Social In Nottingham with The Cave Singers on Sat 28th June . News: 1/04/08: So we made it back! The US tour was a blast, big thanks to Greg Wood, everyone who came to the shows and the folks at Azra for making it happen. The US version of the record is out now, available on Amazon and the usual places , it has 3 bonus tracks and the new packaging is really beautiful . Lots of Photo's and a short tour film over at www.myspace.com/pacificoceanfire . Now back to that bloody new record , I knew we were supposed to be doing something! .
News : 23/02/08 US Tour Dates Confirmed
News 2/2/2008 : US Tour Announced We are excited to announce that we will heading out to the States for a 2 week tour in March. The first few dates are over at the shows page and more will be added soon. We will also be doing our first UK shows this year at the Social in Nottingham and the labour club in Northampton , which will be an acoustic show at a new night promoted by our good friend Liam Dullaghan. Love POF xx News 23/12/2007: Happy Christmas ! It's been a great year, thanks to all of you who came to any of the shows this year or put us on or up!. So we're making a new record, we have 9 songs down so far and a way to go before it's finished. The US version of 'From the Station' is entitled ' Strangers and Deranged patients' and comes in a flashy digi pack format ,complete with extra tracks and will be released in America on Azra records in March 2008. Our first US tour is looking like happening in March 2008 which we are all looking forward to, big thanks to Greg and all the folks at Azra for their hard work.

News 08/03/07: We are pleased to announce that we have signed to Californian label Azra records www.myspace.com/azrarecords .The US version of From the Station will be out in the autumn with extra tracks, a new title and new artwork .There will be a US tour to follow in September / October.

Gideon Coe will be playing a track from the new album on his BBC 6 Music show tomorrow 13.07.06. It goes out between 10:00am and 13:00pm. We have also added 3 more live dates to the gigs page. News : 01.07.04 There are two new (if rather odd) reviews of "Roadsigns" up on the reviews page, one from Drowned in sound and one from alt. country tab. The Leicester Y Theatre gig is looking like being rescheduled plus another couple of great supports are in the pipeline, injuries permitting . Mixes of the new album are in the final stages and then it's just mastering and drinks all round (a large one for Dave I think before it's too late and he goes all Joe Meek on us) . For now it's heads down and back to Church studios to finish the record which has a working title of "Lightning & Luck". Sometime soon we'll be back out there with a load of new songs and a couple of new instruments which will be making their first appearances at the shows, so there should be plenty of seat-of-the-pants type thrills for band and audience alike.
